Service Department

Bay Air Flying Service operates its own maintenance department. In addition to servicing our fleet of training and rental aircraft, we service many of the customer based aircraft here at Albert Whitted. Services include:

• Three airframe and power plant certified mechanics
• Two FAA certified inspectors
• Extensive parts inventory
• Flat rate 100 hour and annual inspections
• Hourly shop rate - $75.00
• Other services include oxygen, nitrogen, freon and Corrosion X and dynamic propeller balancing

You simply will not find a better maintenance program than what Bay Air has to offer. We take flying very seriously and this is reflected in our quality maintenance standards.

To keep our aircraft in tip-top shape, Bay Air Flying Service employs five full time FAA Certified Aviation Maintenance Technicians. They ensure that each aircraft is meticulously maintained. Every airplane must pass a 100 hour inspection in addition to the yearly annual inspection. In addition to the required inspections all maintenance concerns are dealt with immediately, ensuring uninterrupted operation. You will also find all of the Bay Air airplanes nicely equipped with modern avionics, fresh paint, and crisp interiors.
